New York and Philadelphia Food Tours

City Food Tours, Guests Having Fun!

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets must be purchased in advance to guarantee your spot. Tours sell out quickly! To buy tickets, click on the Zerve link.  Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted.

Is there an age minimum for the tours?
There is no minimum age for the tours, but all participants, regardless of age, must have a ticket to attend the tour.

If this trip is sold out can I get on a waiting list?
Unfortunately, there are no waiting lists for our tours. Tours are offered several times every week, so please check another date/time for availability.

What happens if it rains?
The tours will take place in all light weather conditions. In rare circumstances such as a heavy snow storm, a hurricane, or other extreme weather when the tour venues can't open, the tour would be canceled. All you would have to do is rebook your tour.

What places will we go on the tour?
We will be visiting the best shops specializing in hand-made, artisanal fare. Depending on the tour, we’ll introduce you to a selection of shops which may include chocolatiers, specialty coffee houses, doughnut stores, cheese mongers, patisseries, tea salons, and more! The variety of food on our tours will astound you!

How much food will I eat on the tour?
Plenty. You'll be tasting a variety of foods and beverages. The number of stops vary depending on the tour, but generally speaking, each tour will have at least 3 stops, with some tours having up to 6 destinations. Please keep in mind that our tours are not designed to be a balanced meal but a tasting adventure!

Will I be able to drink anything on the tour?
Yes! You won't be able to taste beverages at every single stop, but at one or two stops along the tour we will be having coffee, tea, or water. Please bring a water bottle if you need more beverages than that!

How long is the tour?
Length of tours vary, but last at least 2 hours. Ask your tour guide if you have concerns about tour duration. Our guides will try to accommodate you if at all possible.

Is there a lot of walking on the tour?
Depending on the tour, the walking will cover between 1/2 and 1 mile. We walk at a very leisurely pace and include several stops, so you should have no problem.

Will I learn about New York City and Philadelphia on your tours?
Yes. Our New York guides are all licensed New York City Sight Seeing Guides, and our Philly guides have lived in Philly for years! They will incorporate important information about the neighborhood you are touring.

I live in the city. Is the tour still good for me?
Absolutely! On our tours you will explore hidden places that you probably don’t know about, meet the owners and other food experts and learn many new things about food. You will see some of the coolest spots in the city and experience your hometown in a totally new way.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Please let the guide know what you cannot eat at the beginning of the tour. We'll do everything we can to arrange substitutes for you. If you need to skip the food at a particular stop, we'll make sure you get an extra sample at another stop.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Many of the stops on our tour are wheelchair accessible, while some are not. However, we encourage anyone in a wheelchair to come on the tour, and we will make any necessary accommodations.

Do you have private tours?
Yes, we do offer private tours. Please check out the link for Private Group Packages.

Are gift certificates available?
Absolutely! Please contact us for more information about gift certificates or give us a call.
